A Japanese Gold Lacquer Sword Stand, Tachi-kake, with Wood Box, Meiji Period
日本明治時期 梨子地松橘蒔繪太刀拵
Meiji Period (1868-1912)

The base is lavishly painted with a silver and gold lacquer orange tree, together with other plants above, joined by a sinuous beam with Ruyi form end, secured by a silver chased joint, all rest on four bracket feet.
