Robert Valentine (1717-1786) was a Quaker born in Ballybrumhill, Carlow, Ireland, and died in East Caln, Chester, Pennsylvania. "Robert Valentine…became an eminent minister of Friends and travelled extensively in that service, including a visit to Great Britain at the close of the Revolution."
