Philadelphia, August 31, 1784-August 23, 1788. Folio. 438 pp. Sundry accounts ledger, written entirely in MS. Belonging to an undetermined Philadelphia merchant, recording hundreds of transactions with numerous individuals and merchant vessels, including itemized lists of imported as well as domestic goods exhanged, payments received, and accounts settled. Original full brown reverse calf, stamped in blind, red morocco spine label, worn and rubbed, spine ends chipped and torn; scattered spotted and soiling to text; first leaf loose, with large circular excision at bottom, other leaves excised.
