Seven Famille Rose Porcelain Bowls and Cups
19TH CENTURY
of various sizes, the first of ogee form, painted with lingzhi sprigs, fruiting peach tree and flowering branches emerging behind rockery, the underside bearing a peach-form iron red mark; the second having deep walls, painted to the exterior showing figures in a ceremony, the interior decorated with roundels showing flower heads, shou character and fruits, the underside bearing a Xianfeng six-character iron red mark and of the period; the third painted with lotus scolls, the underside bearing an apocryphal Kangxi six-character mark in underglaze blue; the fourth decorated with gold fish; the fifth with boys at play; the sixth and the seventh with floral decoration.
