Two Pairs of Turquoise Glazed Porcelain Vases
19TH CENTURY
the first pair each of flattened form, carved to show a central leaf-form reserve enclosing a a seated Buddha surrounded by lotus scrolls, enclosed by eight ribbon-tied Buddhist emblems, the square sectioned neck decorated with flower heads and flanked by a pair of chilong- form handles; the second pair each vase of moon flask-form with a pair of dragon head-form handles.
