A Matched Pair of Longquan Celadon Porcelain Vases
19TH CENTURY
each having a flattened gourd-form body raised on a short foot, surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck and a lipped mouth, carved to show a pair of confronting dragons underneath a shou medallion, the neck decorated with a band of lappet leaves, flanked by a pair of dragon handles; together with a celadon ground underglaze blue jar decorated with fu characters.
