A Tibetan Metal and Hardstone Inset Hinged Box the cover and the interior densely inset with hardstones including tourmaline, agate, coral and turquoise, the cover depicting a seated bodhisattva in lalitasana with both hands holding two ends of a flowing scarf, flanked by two floral stems, the interior showing a bodhisattva seated in dynasana with two primary hands in namaskaramudra and the other two hands raised bearing prayer beads and lotus stem, the sides decorated with wave motif.
