Lower left of frame with the Suhl Consortium logo of V.C.S.*C.G.H. in an oval over SUHL, standing for the cooperative efforts of V.C. Schilling and C.G. Haenel. Imperial German {CROWN}/V proofs are found on the left side of the frame and barrel. All numbers match throughout, including the grips. Suhl consortium produced about 17% of all M83 military revolvers and these were delivered to the German states of Prussia, Bavaria and Saxony.
