HEAD OF A HELLENISTIC RULER C. 1st Century BC

Carved marble, shown wearing a crested helmet with ram's horns, the face with mouth agape and framed by two cheekpieces, the head flat at the back for mounting, raised on a bespoke plinth.

H: 9.25, W: 3.5 in. (mounted).
