ROMAN BALSAMARIUM IN THE FORM OF A BUST OF ANTINOUS 2nd Century AD

Cast bronze, the young deified companion of Hadrian is depicted with a mass of corkscrew curls, he wears a necklace with crescent pendant and headband, raised on a wooden mount.

H: 6.9 in. (mounted).
