Three Chanel Jewelry Pieces: Earrings and Cuff by Robert Goossens and Pendant Necklace, 1954-74


This piece was once owned by Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo, the granddaughter of a prominent Argentinian family that hosted royalty in their Buenos Aires home, the Palacio Ortiz Basualdo. Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo was likewise known for her style, in fashion and at home, and was an ongoing client of Pierre Cardin’s. 

Gold-tone chain with metallic cord and large pendent with intricate design on the back stamped "Chanel" in the middle. The pendent reads "Regarde St. Cristophe Et Paris Rassure" with an engraved image depicting St. Christopher with a child. The chain is stamped "Chanel" at the clasp where the pendent attaches.
